Martina Sopko is an Associate Attorney at The Gallini Group, specializing in Special Education law. Her journey into the legal profession was driven by a deep-seated passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of students and families. Prior to entering law school, Martina gained valuable experience as a paralegal assistant and summer associate with the firm, which solidified her commitment to pursuing a legal career.
Martina earned her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University in Detroit, graduating in May 2023. Her undergraduate studies in Special Education at Michigan State University initially sparked her desire to become a teacher, but she soon realized the potential to effect change on a broader scale by combining her foundational knowledge of the teaching field with formal legal training.
Since joining the legal profession full-time in fall 2023, Martina has dedicated her practice to advocating for the rights of children with special needs and their families. She brings a unique perspective to her work, drawing on her background in education to provide comprehensive support and representation to clients navigating the complexities of Special Education law.
Outside of her legal practice, Martina enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs in their home in North Carolina.
